It was truly destiny. I was once a teacher — never did I imagine that one day I would take a turn toward business, let alone devote myself to the bird’s nest industry, such a unique and delicate field.

In the past, I only knew of bird’s nest as something luxurious and distant — a product seemingly out of reach. But then, fate found its gentle way to me, quite by chance.

When I first arrived in Cam Ranh – Khanh Hoa, I was deeply moved by the sight of swiftlets gliding gracefully around my car, circling above, and perching in flocks atop the trees of the nearby forests. My heart seemed to resonate with these delicate creatures, as if sharing a silent connection with the swiftlets of this land. I became truly captivated — following the flight paths of the birds, learning about the meticulous process of building swiftlet houses, harvesting the nests, and the patient, handcrafted art of cleaning them. Most of all, I was inspired by the immense health value that bird’s nest brings to people. I feel proud and grateful to be among the few who have had the privilege to touch — and work within — this precious Vietnamese treasure.

I have come to see Khanh Hoa as my second homeland.

My family decided to build our livelihood in Cam Ranh, a land considered ideal for swiftlets to live and thrive. Vietnam has a coastline stretching over 3,200 kilometers, of which Khanh Hoa alone boasts 380 kilometers, not to mention its many surrounding islands. The entire province rests against the Truong Son mountain range, forming a distinctive topography — which is why the swiftlets here are all sea swiftlets. The climate is exceptionally favorable, with only about 20 rainy days per year and sunshine almost all year round. This environment naturally attracts the rare and precious Vietnamese swiftlet, known locally as “Yến hàng”, the species behind the renowned Khanh Hoa bird’s nest. These swiftlets make their homes here, nesting and producing bird’s nests of exceptional nutritional value — containing 19 amino acids, 35 easily absorbed minerals, and over 55% natural protein.
I chose to devote myself to the bird’s nest industry in Khanh Hoa not only for its exceptional quality, but also out of love for this land — with a heartfelt desire to contribute to the growth of the local economy.

Helen Solar – Yen Khanh Hoa (Yen Helen) is the first and only company in the bird’s nest industry to be granted the Halal Certification by Halcert.

A rigorous and strict standard of the Muslim community, this certification gives us the opportunity to officially bring our products to the UAE market — opening the door for Vietnamese bird’s nest to reach the international stage.

Yen Helen currently offers more than 100 products, ranging from raw to refined forms, with over 20% being ready-to-eat bird’s nest combined with precious herbs. Without relying on loud advertising, we win the market through quality and credibility.

Among our products, the ready-to-eat bird’s nest line contains 70% pure bird’s nest, produced with advanced technology and completely free from preservatives. These products are now available in many hospitals and coal mines, affirming their nutritional value and health benefits.
